Aaron Fryklund :: Composer
Aaron Fryklund is a vital and progressive young composer based in Dallas, Texas. Fryklund's style exhudes a dynamic energy while his music maintains a delicate balance of cerebral intelligence and unabashed passion. Fryklund's compositions have been featured in films, recordings, concerts, exhibitions, and in print. Performances of his works have been warmly met in eight states and he will soon enjoy his first european premiere. He is constanty seeking new opportunities and meets any challenges with vigorous enthusiasm.
Fryklund received his bachelors degree in composition from Oklahoma City University and his masters in composition at the University of North Texas. He has studied under Edward Knight, Andrew May, David Bithell, and Cindy McTee. His aesthetic covers a wide range of compositional styles and his works represent multiple mediums, including acoustic music, electroacoustic and interactive computer music, video pieces, and kinetic sculptures.
